With the push of a finger, our Drop Down Feeder sits firmly open at 90 degrees. Drop Down Feeder is a beautiful feeder to mount inside your pony’s stall, whether that is inside the barn or outside on their shelter. This unit is screwed into a wall and is easy for humans to open, but virtually impossible for horses to open. Our Easy Latch must be pushed toward the wall to release the bar. That’s pretty hard to do with a squishy horse nose. Open the feeder, load the hay, and push the feeder bar closed. Easy! Purchase with or without our hay nets.

Hay Nets come in 2 pre-cut lengths: 48” or 60” long. Our 1.5” mesh knotless hay nets are made of polyester, which is more durable, yet softer, than nylon. These nets absorb less water, keeping them softer over the long term.
We’ve ordered and tested out many nets and we like this one the best. It’s just plain good quality and it’s W I D E R than most that are currently available. This is a nice feature because the width means it’s easier to load and can take more hay. We find that the net has a slippery quality and it’s easier to slide hay all the way into the net. Custom sizing available.

PLEASE NOTE:
HayPal hay net feeders are designed for hay nets that are minimum 1” mesh. Nets with smaller mesh size (under 1”) will not fit around the aluminum tubing. Smaller nets can be tied on if desired, but HayPal recommends the use of 1.5” mesh nets. Hardware may need to be tightened periodically.
