There are three hay net filling station options: weighed, freestanding and wall-mounted. Our Weigh Pal is both a hay net filler and an accurate system of weighing hay.
Using a scale to weigh hay is the way to go if you have concerns about your horse’s intake of hay. The Weigh Pal is perfect for horses with laminitic changes, insulin resistance and weight issues. It is also perfect for the horse owner, or boarding facility owner, who see it as a tool for best feeding practices.

The digital scale system has provided accuracy in record-keeping, reduces hay cost, and reduces the staff stress associated to feeding (one flake of hay can weigh anywhere from .5 pound to 3+ pounds).

Hay is dropped into the open net. The hay net is taken off the rail in one fell swoop and brought out through the open ‘fourth’ side. Built for our friend Lloyd, who feeds horses at a local 25+ horse dressage barn, the HayPal freestanding hay net filler has greatly reduced the amount of time it takes to fill each net.
