Portable Fence Feeder comes with or without a hay net - you can try our 1.5” mesh hay nets or install your own. Make sure the bottom of the net, when it’s empty, rests at least 6” off the ground. When you purchase our hay nets, we send the feeders to you with the net pre-mounted.
The hooks on this feeder fit standard 2×6 wooden rail or up to a 2” diameter steel tube fence (use a 3” keyless clevis pin provided when positioning this feeder on a steel tube fence - please inform us if you are mounting to this type of fence). Custom hook sizes are available (pole fencing is often 3.5” diameter). Contact us prior to purchase if you require custom-sized hooks.
