Fence Mounted Feeders is a category of feeders that mount onto or on top of fences. The Fence Feeder was our original slow feed design. Then we discovered that shorter fences needed something with the hay delivery system on top of the fence, so the Fence Top Feeder was born. When it got muddy, we wanted to be able to move the feeders to another piece of fence line, and created portable editions. The portable options have become popular with people travelling to clinics and rural style events, so that you can keep your horse’s feed programming consistent whether you are at home or away.
Visit the highlighted green links below to find details about each style of fence-mounted feeder.
Fence Feeder: Our simplest, most wonderfully basic feeder straddles the top two rails of your fence. The mounted edition screws in using tube clamps (provided), and the portable edition hooks onto your fence rails.
Fence Top Feeder: Excellent for shorter fences, and horse owners who love chore time … the hay chute on this feeder sits along the top rail of the fence and stretches an extra 14” taller. It is rather fun to fill. Throw a few flakes of hay into the feeder, or load up a pitch fork and toss it into the hay chute.
