Fence Top Feeder, Portable
The Portable Fence Top Feeder takes hay delivery to a higher level. Literally! The hay chute sits above the top rail of the fence and accepts either flakes of hay, or forks full of loose hay. Originally designed for lower height fences, this feeder has become a barn favourite because it can host a larger hay net and therefore longer period of time slow-feeding your horse.
Portable siderails enable you to take this feeder with your horse when you travel: whether it’s to a neighbouring paddock, a back country camping weekend, or a horse show. Just pop the feeder overtop of the fence you find at your new location. If you have mud, we recommend the portable feeder. It is very convenient to move the portable feeder to a less-muddy location. No drills required!
The Portable Fence Top Feeder comes with or without a hay net - you can try our specially curated nets or install your favourite hay net yourself. Make sure the bottom of the net, when it’s empty, rests at least 6” off the ground. We appreciate the chance to have you test out our hay nets. When you purchase our nets, we send the feeders to you with the net pre-mounted.
