Drop Down Feeder is a premium product for solid wood surfaces in barns or shelters. It comes with or without a hay net. The Full Feed net holds 2-4 flakes, while the larger Day Net holds 3-6+ flakes. We have customers who drop 40 pound compressed bales into these feeders, straps and all.
This feeder is perfect for stalls that have a solid wall (whether that’s inside your barn, or outside in a shelter). You must make sure to mount the feeder to a solid wood surface (a stud or 1.5”+ lumber). If you do not have a solid surface (for example, if you are mounting to plywood), please purchase and use our wall anchor kit. We do not recommend installation onto 1/2” plywood.
