The HayPal Universal Slow Feeder operates as either a fence-mounted or wall-mounted slow feeder. When mounted on a fence, the feeder becomes a through-fence feeder (just push hay through the fence rails directly into the feeder) and, when mounted to a wall, it becomes a door-style feeder. This ‘door’ can be mounted horizontally to become a drop-down style, or it can be mounted vertically with clamps on one side of the frame, so that the feeder opens up like a door. To open the door-style feeder, just undo the latch, open up the feeder and drop in your hay. All fittings are included.
The Universal Slow Feeder eliminates the hassle of loading, tying and hanging up multiple hay nets every day. The hay chute is 23”wide x 16” tall, which is several inches taller and wider than an average hay flake. The hay net that comes with the feeder is our Single Feed Net, which holds 2-4+ flakes.
